ABOUT @BKBYBIKE
In 2017, I set out to bike every block of Brooklyn, NY. On my 4,000-mile journey, I documented my adventures on Instagram as @bkbybike. After completing the endeavor in June 2020, I have been using my experience as an urban cyclist, designer and photographer to assist local community groups and small businesses.
Following the success of this project, I began biking every block of Queens, NY. I'm currently 1000 miles into this journey.

These were my first 2 motion graphics projects in Adobe After Effects.
Layers on Layers on Layers
The project as a whole was an incredible and tedious learning experience. After I biked each route, I would draw a new layer in Illustrator. As the project was wrapping up, I wanted people to experience my journey through a chronological animation.
